Our Story
Our story begins in 2008 when teacher and business executive Philip Melton discovered that ESKOM offered substantial incentives for businesses to switch from incandescent to LED lighting. Surprised by the low adoption of these incentives, Philip rolled up his sleeves and took the matter into his own hands.
Walking from restaurant to restaurant, he conducted free lighting audits, retrofitted Lighting and managed the rebate process on their behalf. Sparking a desire to educate and simplify businesses’ transition to LED lighting, TFS Energy was born.
TFS Energy has since grown to serve leading industrial and commercial companies. We alleviate the challenges of complex deployments by leveraging our comprehensive programme expertise through our specialised nationwide turnkey installation and project management teams.
TFS Energy's Lights On Programme explained
TFS Energy will install new, energy-efficient LED Lighting at no up-front capital cost to you. TFS Energy will maintain the lighting system over the life of the programme service agreement. The monthly payment remains fixed for the duration of the programme service agreement. Projects are typically installed within one to three months after the signed programme agreement.
