It all started in 2008 when Philip Melton, a business executive with a passion for education, noticed a significant gap in the market. Eskom was offering substantial incentives for businesses to switch from incandescent to LED lighting, yet adoption remained surprisingly low.
Taking matters into his own hands, Philip hit the pavement. He visited local restaurants one by one, conducting free lighting audits, performing retrofits, and personally managing the rebate process. This hands-on, service-first approach sparked the creation of TFS Energy.
Today, we have evolved from those door-to-door origins to become a partner of choice for South Africa’s leading industrial and commercial enterprises. We simplify complex deployments with our nationwide turnkey installation teams, alleviating the headache of project management for our clients.
